Sustainability Manager

Our client, in the Manufacturing Industry, is seeking to hire for role of Sustainability Manager.

Job Requirement:

• B.Sc. in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience as a sustainability manager.
• Demonstrated track record of implementing sustainability initiatives and driving positive environmental impact.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks and software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Job Description:

• Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies, goals, and initiatives.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability principles into all aspects of the manufacturing processes, including supply chain management, product design, and waste management.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, regulatory agencies, and community groups, to advance sustainability objectives and foster partnerships.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in sustainability practices, leveraging emerging technologies and industry trends to optimize resource efficiency and reduce environmental footprint.
• Oversee sustainability reporting and communication efforts to ensure transparency and accountability in disclosing environmental performance metrics and progress towards sustainability goals.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on sustainability practices and initiatives, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility and engagement throughout the organization.
• Manage sustainability-related projects and initiatives, from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and objectives.
• Stay informed about developments in sustainability science, policy, and technology, and integrating relevant insights into the company’s sustainability strategy and operations.
