Our client in the  Masterbatch Industry is looking to fill the role of Research & Development Chemist.

Job Requirement

  • B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of R&D experience.
  • Operational use of spectrophotometer and Twin roll mill.
  • Good knowledge of color matching, pigment selection and polymeric properties.
  • Experience in Masterbatch, Ink, or Paint industry is an added advantage.

Job Description

  • Formulate customized recipes to meet client specifications and standards.
  • Innovate and develop new product samples in alignment with client requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality Control/R&D Manager to report on new findings and advancements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory equipment, including operating injection molding, blown film, and Twin roll mill machines.
  • Collect production samples from the floor and conduct thorough tests on incoming raw materials.
  • Regularly calibrate the photo spectrometer to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and records of all R&D activities and samples.
