Head Talent Management
We are hiring a Head of Talent Management for a tech-enabled retail company.
Requirements:
- First Degre in relevant field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience
- Relevant HR Certifications; e.g. SPHRi, SHRM, PHRi, CIPM etc.
- Good knowledge of strategic Human Resources Management
- Good knowledge of HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
Job Responsibilities:
- Create, design and Implement the Talent Management policies/ framework.
- Implementing strategies, policies, and programs that align with business objectives and support talent acquisition, retention, and development.
- Design and develop efficient assessment tools to identify talents within the organization.
- Develop and deploy effective workforce planning and resource forecasting models.
- Identify the organisation’s needs, create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy.
- Manage a highly skilled team to assist with talent development and acquisition.
- Oversee the company’s performance management processes and systems.
- Develop effective strategies for identifying skills gaps within the workforce.
- Organise and oversee individual and team development programmes.
- Develop and deliver training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce, including leadership development programs to identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles.
- Develop and implement employee retention programmes or strategies.
- Develop and implement succession planning strategies to ensure a pipeline of qualified internal candidates for critical roles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within the organizations to devise talent retention strategies, talent improvement plans and measure the impact of the interventions.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to drive talent initiatives supporting the business strategy.
- Managing and utilize data to identify talent trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Developing and implementing strategies to attract diverse candidates in all areas of the business.
- Stay updated on industry recruitment trends and their impact on the business while proactively designing and implementing strategies to win.
- Research and proffer initiatives for introducing/maintaining best practices in talent management.
