Head of Marketing

Our client, a reputable Publishing company in Nigeria seeks to hire an experienced Marketing Head.

Requirement:

• BSC/HND in business administration or related field.
• Marketing-related training programs
• A proven track record of implementing successful marketing strategies
• Minimum of 10 years post-qualification marketing/sales experience.
• Age not exceeding 40yrs
• Excellent man-management and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously analyze market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to stay ahead of the competition.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of competitors’ activities, strategies, and performance.
• Develop counter strategies to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge.
• Ensure all marketing activities are centered around customer needs and preferences.
• Strive to exceed customer expectations in all marketing interactions.
• Design and execute campaigns to attract new customers.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to identify and target potential customers.
• Develop marketing strategies aimed at driving revenue growth.
• Implement cost-effective marketing solutions and monitor marketing expenses to stay within budget.
• Set sales targets and ensure they are met or exceeded.
• Ensure the team stays updated with the latest marketing trends and techniques.
• Lead initiatives to promote the company’s products and services.
• Coordinate with the product development team to highlight key features and benefits.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketing team.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
