Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking to fill the role of Data/Business Analyst.

Job Requirements:

  • B.Sc./HND in Data Analytics, Statistics or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data analyst in the corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. SQL, Python, R, Microsoft Excel, Tableau).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

Job Description:

  • Conduct comprehensive data collection, analysis, and interpretation to extract actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain robust databases, spreadsheets, and analytical tools to efficiently organize and visualize data.
  • Craft reports and dynamic dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver regular updates on business performance.
  • Identify emerging trends, patterns, and opportunities within datasets to inform strategic planning initiatives.
  • Liaise closely with the Managing Director to grasp their analytical requirements and strategic priorities.
  • Deliver timely and accurate data analysis to facilitate informed decision-making processes.
  • Craft high-impact executive presentations and reports, translating complex data findings into compelling narratives.
  • Assist in preparing meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and reports, to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration to gather insights from diverse data sources and facilitate cohesive decision-making processes.
  • Effectively communicate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders, fostering alignment and understanding across the organization.
  • Remain abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance data quality and integrity.
  • Proactively solicit feedback to refine analytical approaches and optimize the relevance and effectiveness of insights.
