Account Officer
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
 - 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
 - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
 - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.
 - communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management.
 - Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting.
 - Certification (or progress towards certification) such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- 
- Assist in processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling discrepancies with vendors and suppliers.
 - Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and updating customer records.
 - Post journal entries and maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.
 - Ensure accuracy and completeness in recording financial transactions.
 - Prepare financial statements and reports for review by senior accountants, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
 - Assist in variance analysis and reporting on financial performance.
 - Monitor inventory transactions and reconcile physical inventories with records.
 - Assist in the costing of inventory and analyze variances.
 - Assist in financial analysis and forecasting, including cost analysis and budget preparation.
 - Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
 - Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
 - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
 - Assist in processing payroll and maintaining payroll records.
 - Ensure accuracy in calculations and compliance with payroll regulations.
 - Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management or finance team members.
 - Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
