Apply For JobOur client in the chemical manufacturing sector seeks to hire a Polymer/Chemical Sales Executive to drive sales growth, expand regional market share, and manage key customer accounts across the Eastern region of Nigeria.
Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

2–4 years of field sales experience in polymer, chemical, or industrial B2B sales.

Strong knowledge of polymer resins, plastic raw materials, or industrial chemicals.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.

Ability to travel extensively across the Eastern region.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Strong presentation skills and ability to conduct technical product demonstrations.
-
Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data.

Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets for polymer and chemical products in the Eastern region.

Prospect, identify, and acquire new industrial clients across relevant sectors.

Conduct field visits, product presentations, and technical sales engagements.

Develop a strong sales pipeline and maintain updated CRM records.
-
Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and supply agreements in line with company policies.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships across Anambra, Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi, and Imo states.

Provide technical support and product guidance for polymer and chemical applications.
-
Collaborate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery.

Resolve customer issues promptly and strengthen long-term client loyalty.

Conduct periodic account reviews to identify growth and upsell opportunities.
-
Understand polymer grades, chemical specifications, and application requirements.
-
Explain product benefits, compatibility, and usage best practices to clients.
-
Gather competitor and industry intelligence to support sales strategy.
-
Support customer trials, testing activities, and product sampling when required.
-
Conduct market research to identify new sectors, pricing trends, and competitor activity.
-
Propose strategies to improve market penetration across Eastern Nigeria.

Support marketing campaigns, trade exhibitions, and product awareness initiatives.

Work with the regional manager to develop yearly sales plans and forecasts.

Prepare and submit quotes, invoices, delivery follow-ups, and weekly activity reports.

Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
-
Prepare sales performance reports and monthly forecasts.
-
Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
