Our client in the manufacturing sector seeks to hire a proactive and innovative R&D Officer to support product development, process improvement, and technical research initiatives. Key Requirement

• HND/B.Sc. in relevant field.
• 2–5 years of experience in R&D, product development, or laboratory research within a plastic/Polymer industry.
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, experimental design, and analytical testing methods.
• Proficiency in data interpretation, report writing, and use of laboratory/testing equipment.
• Good knowledge of industry regulations, safety practices, and quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under minimal supervision.

      Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research is to identify new product opportunities, materials, and technologies relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Develop, test, and refine product formulations to improve performance, safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Support the design, setup, and monitoring of laboratory experiments and pilot production.
• Document research findings, test results, and technical reports for internal review and decision-making.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and engineering teams to implement new or improved processes.
• Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor products to recommend innovative strategies.
• Ensure all research activities comply with safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and quality specifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to product performance or manufacturing processes.
• Participate in product trials, validation testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
