Our client, a reputable leader in the Agricultural sector, is looking to recruit a skilled Shift in Charge-ETP.

Key Requirements

• HND/ B. Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 6-10 years of experience in ETP operations
• Experience in the ethanol, sugar, or alcohol industries preferred
• Knowledge of anaerobic and aerobic ETP systems and effluent treatment parameters (COD, BOD, TSS, pH)
• Familiarity with process instrumentation and SCADA/DCS operations
• Leadership and team coordination
• Process troubleshooting and analytical thinking
• EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and regulatory compliance
• Strong record-keeping and reporting abilities
• Effective communication and coordination skills

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of the ETP processes
• Ensure safe, efficient, and economical operation of the ETP, in compliance with pollution control regulations
• Monitor effluent parameters (COD, BOD, TSS, pH) to ensure regulatory compliance
• Track ETP operational parameters and in-process quality of wastewater and chemical consumption during shifts
• Operate and control ETP processes and parameters using PLC/DCS systems
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and compliance with environmental and safety standards
• Coordinate implementation of new processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in preventive maintenance and safety-related activities
• Identify and rectify abnormalities to prevent environmental violations
• Lead, supervise, and train operators, helpers, and maintenance staff during shifts
• Maintain shift-wise logbooks, production data, and handover reports
• Provide on-the-job training to new and existing team members
• Communicate operational issues and resolutions to immediate superiors
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments for materials and process requirement.
