Our client, a leading and highly reputable organization in the Manufacturing sector, is seeking to hire an experienced Accountant  

Job Requirements

• HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience, preferably within the FMCG sector.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience with SAP.

• Good understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger processes.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in financial operations.

   

Job Responsibilities

• Execute financial accounting and administrative operations within the Finance & Accounts (F&A) department.

• Manage accounting for fixed assets including acquisition, disposal, and depreciation in line with IFRS and SAP procedures.

• Review and adjust postings to the Profit & Loss account.

• Maintain, post, and run monthly accruals.

• Perform year-end account reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial statements.

• Process vendor invoices (MIRO) and monitor invoice aging to ensure timely payments.

• Prepare lists of invoices due for payment, support bank transfer processing, and handle cash payments to vendors when required.

• Prepare payment advice for settled invoices and share with vendors.

• Retire staff expenses and process reimbursements where applicable.

• Maintain GR/IR and other vendor-related clearing accounts.

• Recognize goods-in-transit monthly and ensure accurate system posting.

• Conduct periodic reconciliation of supplier accounts to ensure correctness and completeness.
