Apply For JobThe Talent Development & Placement Manager will lead employability and freelancing programs designed to equip young people with the skills, exposure, and confidence needed to secure meaningful work opportunities. The role focuses on coaching, talent development, and building strong industry partnerships that drive job placements and freelance pathways.
Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in youth employment, talent development, or career coaching in Nigeria.

Demonstrated success delivering impactful, skills-based training programs.

Strong understanding of Nigeria’s employment and freelance ecosystems.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, project management, and communication skills.

Passion for youth empowerment and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities

Lead virtual/hybrid employability training on career discovery, industry insights, personal branding, CV writing, portfolio development, and job search strategy.

Conduct mock interviews and coach youth on professional etiquette and communication skills.

Oversee a 6-week mentorship program focused on soft skills and workplace readiness.

Conduct needs assessments to identify youth skill gaps.

Design and implement Graduate Employability Programs aligned with labor market needs.

Monitor program effectiveness through assessments and career tracking.

Identify and circulate job, internship, and apprenticeship opportunities.

Build and manage a segmented talent database.

Match candidates to roles and support with CVs, interview preparation, and post-placement follow-ups.

Deliver freelancing workshops on business planning, pricing, client management, and digital presence.

Establish partnerships with freelance platforms and industry stakeholders.

Stay updated on freelance market trends to maintain relevant programming.

Recommend, onboard, and supervise training and placement partners.

Strengthen employer and stakeholder relationships to secure placement pipelines.

Track and report KPIs on workshop delivery, partnerships, job linkages, and portfolio outcomes.

Support youth employment advocacy efforts when necessary.
