Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking to hire a results-driven Microbiologist. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong technical expertise, good laboratory practices, and a collaborative spirit, contributing effectively to the company.

Key Requirements

• HND/B.Sc. in Microbiology.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in microbiology, preferably within a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of microbiological techniques, laboratory equipment, and aseptic practices.
• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), quality control standards, and safety protocols.
• Experience with SAP system is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, supervise, and validate cleaning and disinfection of operational equipment and environment, ensuring hygiene conformance before production startup.
• Monitor and enforce performance hygiene compliance within the operational environment.
• Conduct microbiological analysis on all incoming raw materials (RM), finished goods (FG), retention, and incubation samples, and provide management with recommendations based on results.
• Carry out proper documentation of analysis results on hard copy and ensure data entering into SAP system.
• Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Perform any other duties as may be duly assigned by management.
