Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and utilities.
• Experience in interpreting technical drawings, machine manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Understanding safety procedures, preventive maintenance planning, and root cause analysis.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical equipment to identify wear, leaks, or potential failures.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions quickly to reduce downtime.
• Ensure proper alignment, lubrication, calibration, and replacement of worn-out parts to sustain equipment performance.
• Coordinate with production and other engineering teams to ensure mechanical systems run reliably during operations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, faults, parts replaced, and operational logs using the provided logbooks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all maintenance and repair work.
• Participate in the planning and execution of major shutdowns, equipment overhauls, and installations.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying areas to optimize machine reliability and maintenance processes.
• Train and guide technicians and junior staff during shift operations to ensure proper procedures are followed.
