Key Requirements:

• OND/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience as a Boiler Operator in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of boiler systems, steam generation processes, and mechanical components.
• Perform safe and efficient start-up and shutdown
• Knowledge of Boiler maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor steam boilers and auxiliary equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
• Take daily water sample of the boiler for lab analysis
• Perform safe and efficient start-up, shutdown, and running of boilers and associated systems.
• Conduct regular checks on boiler pressure, water levels, and temperature controls to ensure optimal performance.
• Conducting routine inspections, performing minor repairs, and troubleshooting issues that may arise during operation, potentially involving collaboration with maintenance personnel.
• Monitoring, recording, and reacting promptly to any production or safety-related alarms or upsets.
• Maintaining accurate records of operational data, maintenance activities, and any unusual occurrences, as well as generating reports as required.
• Report any malfunctions, safety concerns, or irregularities to the maintenance supervisor or engineering team.
