Our client, a reputable leader in the Production sector, is looking to recruit a skilled Shift Instrument Engineer.  

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience working with plant automation systems, PLC, and SCADA is highly desirable.
• Excellent diagnostics skills

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring & maintaining the instrumentation control system in the factory during shift hours
• Troubleshooting & calibration of field instruments as per factory standard and production demand.
• Execute planned schedule and unplanned instrumentation activities in the factory to meet production targets
• Carrying out routine maintenance and calibration procedures on instruments and control systems to prevent potential problems and ensure continued accuracy.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues with instrumentation and control systems, often under pressure and within a time-sensitive environment.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, performance data, and any issues encountered.
• Adhering to all relevant safety procedures and regulations related to the operation and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
• Working effectively with other engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure smooth operations and efficient problem resolution.
