Apply For JobOur client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking to hire a Commercial Finance Manager.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA are highly desirable; CFA is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of financial management experience in the manufacturing sector, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and capability to implement effective solutions.
- Technical proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and advanced Excel functions.
- Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and cross-functional projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic business decisions.
- Analyze production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.
- Track, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) with actionable insights.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and supply chain teams on pricing strategies and investment appraisals.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain strong internal controls.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and financial operations.
- Manage and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering continuous improvement.
- Oversee trade finance reports, including analysis of imports, conversion costs, credit days, receivables, and debtor characterization.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including manufacturing and sales operating statements, gross margin, overheads, and production volume analysis.
- Manage freight-in and freight-out accounts to protect margins and ensure inventory control of finished goods.
- Handle foreign exchange management, including forex bidding, swaps, LC payments, and coordination with bank treasuries.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, optimize cash utilization, and manage working capital and treasury-related MIS.
- Oversee insurance planning, risk assessments, claims management, and maintain relationships with insurers and regulatory bodies.
- Supervise logistics and supply chain processes, including importation, customs clearance, inventory management, and cost optimization.
