Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking to hire a Machine Operator - Can Plant.

Key Requirements

• OND/HND in Mechanical/Electrical disciplines.

•  Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in can plant operations or similar FMCG environments.

• Proven ability to manage time effectively to meet production targets.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Sound understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up production equipment and supplies before executing job orders.

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.

• Perform regular inspection and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment operations and maintenance.

• Identify equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs and act promptly.

• Support junior operators in their tasks and responsibilities.

• Clean and repair equipment as needed.

• Work under the guidance of the Team Leader to complete tasks timely.

• Recommend and implement process improvements for better efficiency and safety.

• Contribute to waste management initiatives.

• Report unsafe operations to the Team Leader immediately.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Follow safety procedures and all company policies.

• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor, Team Leader, or Shift Manager.
