Our client, a reputable leader in the Agricultural sector, is looking to recruit a skilled ETP Operator.

Key Requirements

• HND/ B.Sc. in Sciences or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in ETP operations
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions
• Knowledge of PLC/DCS system operations
• Familiarity with Pollution Control Board norms
• Understanding of safety and hygiene practices
• Team coordination and training capability

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of the ETP and provide direction to lower-level plant operators
• Ensure safe, efficient, and economical operation of the ETP, in compliance with pollution control regulations
• Monitor raw materials (e.g., dosing chemicals), equipment readiness, utilities, PPE, and manpower availability based on production plans
• Track ETP operational parameters and in-process quality of wastewater and chemical consumption during shifts
• Operate and control ETP processes and parameters using PLC/DCS systems
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and compliance with environmental and safety standards
• Coordinate implementation of new processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in preventive maintenance and safety-related activities
• Provide on-the-job training to new and existing team members
• Communicate operational issues and resolutions to immediate superiors
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments for materials and process requirement.
• Perform any other duties as assigned
