Apply For JobOur client in the manufacturing sector seeks to hire Flexible Operators & Technicians to operate and maintain flexible packaging production equipment efficiently across rotating shifts, ensuring quality output, safety compliance, and minimal downtime.
Key Requirements
Apply For Job- Technical qualification (OND/HND, Trade Test, or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum of 2–5 years’ hands-on experience in flexible packaging, plastics, or FMCG manufacturing environments
- Proven ability to operate, set up, and monitor flexible packaging machines
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Willingness and physical ability to work rotating shifts and extended hours when required
- Good understanding of quality control procedures and production KPIs
- Knowledge of workplace safety, GMP, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate production issues clearly
- Operate flexible packaging machines in accordance with approved operating procedures and production plans
- Set up machines for production runs, including material loading, adjustments, and basic calibration
- Monitor machine performance and output quality throughout each shift
- Identify and resolve minor mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Escalate major faults promptly to maintenance teams
- Conduct routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance activities
- Record production data, downtime, and quality issues accurately
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE, GMP, and housekeeping standards
- Participate in shift handovers and continuous improvement initiatives
