Our client, a leading company in the FMCG sector, is seeking to employ an Area Sales Manager (North) to oversee sales operations across Gombe, Maiduguri, Jos, Abuja, and Kaduna.  

Key Requirements

• HND or BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4–7 years’ experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG industry.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Proven ability in sales planning, coaching, and team management.
• Good market knowledge and ability to gather customer insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and increase sales of company products across the assigned region. (Gombe, Maiduguri, Jos, Abuja, and Kaduna).
• Achieve sales targets and goals for designated areas.
• Establish, maintain, and expand the customer base (distributors, sub-dealers, wholesalers).
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, motivating them to meet targets.
• Conduct market research and collect customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Build strong partnerships with key distributors to ensure smooth business operations.
• Stay updated with market trends, competitors, and product knowledge.
