Our client, a top player in the Publishing sector, seeks to hire for the role of Operations Manager.

Key Requirements:

• HND/B.Sc. degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations or a related field.
• Analytical mindset with strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the MD in developing and directing strategy towards the profitable growth and operation of the company.
• Develop strategic operating plans that reflect the long-term objectives and priorities established by the Board.
• Ensuring appropriate operational planning and quality assurance control systems are in place and complied with.
• Develop and maintain an effective marketing and public relations strategy to promote the company's services to a wider market-specific audience.
• Develop and sustain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Ensuring that the operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and all other employees.
• Maintaining the operational performance of the company.
• Representing the company to major customers and professional associations.
• Keep abreast of industry news and market forces that may have both an adverse or positive influence on the organization.
• Provide direction and leadership to ensure the achievement of objectives, targets and strategic plans.
• Manage the Management team to ensure that the company meets its obligations to customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure that the organization is compliant with all regulatory and industry requirements.
• Ensure that the appropriate structures, systems and processes are in place to keep the organization abreast of industry policy, and legislative changes/impact.
• Develop the organization to be an ethical business in all aspects of its activities.
