Key Requirements:

• ND/HND/BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 0–2 years of hands-on experience in a production or industrial environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, centrifuges)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in operating the decanter centrifuge to separate wet solids (slop) from liquid effluent
• Monitor parameters such as vibration, feed rate, temperature, and sludge dryness under supervision
• Support routine inspection and cleaning of the decanter and related piping systems
• Learn to detect unusual machine behavior, noise, or signs of leakage and report them promptly
• Aid in collecting samples of separated solids and liquids for quality testing
• Document daily readings and equipment performance in logbooks or digital systems
• Participate in preventive maintenance activities alongside the maintenance team
• Ensure the cleanliness and safe operation of the decanter area
• Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and standard operating procedures
• Participate in company-organized training and development programs for technical growth.
