Job Requirements- HND/BSC in Management, Supply Chain, or related fields
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the recycling or waste management industry
- Background in Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain, Security, or Warehousing
- Proven experience managing suppliers, customers, and distributed teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively across informal and professional sectors
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and streamline operational processes
- Familiarity with community engagement and grassroots mobilization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with PET suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of recyclable materials
- Travel within Nigeria to identify new PET sources and support collector development
- Lead and manage a distributed team of 7+ across multiple cities, fostering accountability and growth
- Supervise 3+ collection centers, optimizing operations and reducing operational costs
- Prepare and submit weekly reports on volume collected, cost metrics, and supplier performance
- Engage with suppliers, community members, and key stakeholders to increase recycling awareness and collaboration
- Innovate new collection strategies and sourcing methods to meet monthly PET collection targets
- Streamline the sorting, bailing, tracking, and storage processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure timely coordination with suppliers and logistics partners for uninterrupted material flow
- Monitor and ensure all collection sites and suppliers adhere to health and safety protocols
- Reduce bailing time and operational inefficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely data reporting on collection volumes and activities
- Drive supplier development, helping at least 10 suppliers scale to a minimum of 50 tonnes/month
- Expand sourcing network by securing at least 10% of supply from new suppliers or regions
- Increase direct collections from commercial establishments like pubs, restaurants, schools, and events
- Participate in and support community-based plastic collection and awareness activities
