Our client, a top player in the Book Publishing sector, seeks to hire for the role of Depot Supervisor

Key Requirements:

• B.Sc./HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in depot, warehouse, or inventory management roles.
• Proven ability to manage warehouse operations and lead a small team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with inventory management software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational abilities.

Key Requirements:

• Supervise all depot operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate accurate inventory management.
• Ensure proper documentation, processing of journal entries, and filing of all transactions.
• Review and process requisitions; plan and schedule shipments based on routes and depot locations.
• Supervise the loading and unloading of inbound and outbound trucks.
• Ensure proper stock storage, organization, space utilization, and orderliness within the depot.
• Conduct and participate in regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Oversee material stock transfers and ensure timely, accurate movement of goods.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all stock movements and transactions.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports on stock levels, transfers, and depot performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
