The Process Documentation and Improvement Specialist will develop, standardize, implement, and continuously improve process documentation across the organization. The role will work closely with process owners and key stakeholders to map workflows, identify process gaps, strengthen controls, and ensure procedures are clearly documented, practical, consistently applied, and aligned with business objectives.  

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in process documentation, internal control, internal audit, quality management, or business process improvement.
  • Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CIA is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing SOPs and process documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of process mapping, internal controls, risk management, and process improvement.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
   

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, review, standardization, and implementation of process documentation and SOPs across relevant functions.
  • Work with process owners and stakeholders to map existing workflows, identify gaps, and document improved processes.
  • Review existing procedures to identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency, and control improvement.
  • Maintain an organized repository of approved process documents, including version control, approval records, and review schedules.
  • Ensure documented processes incorporate appropriate internal controls, segregation of duties, approval requirements, and accountability measures.
  • Review process documentation following changes in systems, workflows, organizational structure, or business requirements.
  • Monitor adherence to approved procedures and identify process deviations, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development and delivery of training and awareness sessions to facilitate effective adoption of documented processes.
  • Prepare periodic reports on process documentation status, identified gaps, improvement initiatives, and implementation progress.
  • Support audit and review activities by providing relevant and up-to-date process documentation when required.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that process improvements are properly documented, communicated, and implemented.
